Capabilities :: Foundry workshop

The foundry workshop is specialized in production of casting for chemistry, concrete industry, machinery, power engineering, ship-building and ship-repair.

In the foundry workshop there is a well-equipped pattern-shop with very good opportunities for individual production on customer request.

The foundry disposes of electric arc furnace - 1.5 tons and two induction furnaces by 600 kg each.

The beginning of moulding of repair parts from different steels was put with the establishment of Devnya Industrial Complex. "NORD" AD has the privilege to be the successor of moulding activity. This advantage is kept up to now.

The maximum weight of steel and cast iron casting is up to 3000 kg and 400 kg for tin and tin-less bronze and brass and 100 kg for Aluminium alloy. The foundry has an electric arc furnace with movable floor and maximum dimensions 300020001600 mm, which is used for all thermal processes.
The quality control of production is based on analyses of raw materials and blends, spectral analysis of chemical composition, mechanical examinations and non-destructive control. The customers are provided with production quality certificate.
The foundry workshop is working in accordance with the quality management system procedures (ISO 9001) and guarantee for the good production indicators. The foundry has long-term experience in casting of pipe fitting, wheels, pumps, sliding rules.

The company has repair teams for mounting, dismounting of outfit and constructions intended for chemistry, concrete industry, power engineering, ship-building and ship-repair as follows:

The laboratory - "Technical Control and Diagnostics" EOOD is situated in the plant area. It provides chemical and physical-mechanical tests of metals, founding materials and moulding mixtures.

The laboratory is equipped with following appliances:

  Appliance for supersonic control "Echo graph 1030"
  Contact optical test of metal temperature
